Amy, that’s such a shame. I purchased via their presale to get Parasol and things went smoothly with the order and sometime later I also received a signed copy of the liner notes. My CD arrived with an invoice from mymusic(dot)com. They are a US and Canadian store so orders should go through fine and bypass the middle person.

Collected Sounds has stood the test of times and really has continued to evolve. I think I first came here for your review on Sarah’s 2001 Mute Cute show and continue to find posts on other artists of interest. I would like to see The Baroness reviewed here. Hopefully one can be sent your way. Good luck getting your hands on the EP.

I tried buying it on their store and the website was broken. I emailed them. Seems they had problems with people from the US trying to buy from them. They thought they had figured out the problem and emailed me back (were very nice about it). But when I tried again I was still unable to purchase it. I tried several times, on different browsers and even different computers. Not wanting to spend over $40 to get it on Amazon, and it’s not on CDBaby, or emusic, I tried another route. I asked her publicist if they wanted me to review it, and asked them to send it to me. I thought I may have a chance since I’ve hosted Sarah at my house and been supporting/promoting her music for several years. Bit I never heard back. So I gave up. Oh well. Seems it wasn’t in the cards for me to hear it. I still want to though! Maybe I’ll get the EP instead.

The SarahSlean store appears to have ran out of stock on the first day it was offered (yesterday).

Surprised that you had trouble getting The Baroness. Her store, maplemusic, and a bunch of other online sellers are selling that CD. Digital versions are also availble from a handful places too.

The previews of the ‘new’ tracks sounds pretty good.
