Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

First, let me assure you this is not Jane Siberry. This is a different Isa all together. (the former Ms. Siberry spells hers Issa anyway). There actually isn’t an “Isa” per se. The female lead singer is named Stacey Chavis

This group is from Scotland. The sound is very 80s alternative. I am reminded of Echo and The Bunnymen and The Church, especially on “Nae Tongues”. This is a good thing. Those were some of my favorite bands back in the day.

The first track is instrumental and really cool. The second, She Said Yeah, where we get to hear vocals is really haunting. Very echoey and dreamy.

There is a really familiar feel to this band, though the songs still sound fresh. It’s something I can see listening to a lot.
