Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

This record is quite different from the others that it is sharing shuffling time with on my iPod. Almost everything else in there is sort of odd, ambient, techno. This is more along the lines of folk-pop and it’s done very well.

Kristy Hanson has a very strong voice. On Comfort she strays into Dar Williams territory at the end. A good thing.

Who Can Say? shows off her great vocal range. The high notes are especially good.

The songwriting is solid and interesting. The melodies are catchy without being too hooky. She also has a knack for writing clever lyrics.

This is another one of those CDs that I really like; I am just having a hard time finding unique words to say about it. I like the songwriting, I like the voice, I like the whole package. I just am not sure how to articulate that. Give it a listen, if you like folk pop I am sure you will dig this.
