Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Short, but oh so sweet. Chase Frank’s debut is perfect on so many levels. Her voice is a flexible instrument that suits her music’s free spirit well.

“Spoon Trick” is an oriental-flavoured track. Frank’s voice dips and swoons while David Lizarde’s violin gives the right kick.

“Sleepwalking” is a hushed, eerie song that puts focus on the dreamy lead vocal.

“Kickstart” is a playful little ditty with some nice ukulele playing by Frank. Now that’s something you don’t hear every day. “I’ve got a taste of your dark heart can’t go a day without that kickstart” she sings lustily.

The jazzy strains of “Licorice Root” are very pleasing to the ear. Frank’s lovely voice shines here.

“Bee of My mind” is just great.
