Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Dianna St.Hilaire fronts Versailles and writes the songs. Her guitarist and drummer offer solid support.

“Believe” is a great, moody song that sees St.Hilaire sing sweetly to a nice backing.

“Believe in me I’ll take you out
Believe in me; you’ll crawl out”

…she warns.

“Lamentations” is more of a gothic hue, the sound of the keyboard and the singing reminding me of Hannah Fury. It’s a harder-edged song and it shows the group’s dynamic sound.

“You’re my Disaster” is the best song, St.Hilaire sings like a siren and the mood is pleasingly desolate.

This ep concludes with a remix, and it’s still enough to show considerable talent.
