Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Yet another artist that lately has been reminding me of Fiona Apple. I think it’s the combination of pop and jazz that sparks this comparison for me.

There are shades of a few other artists too, some of which I can name, and some which are on the tip of my tongue (or brain). I am also hearing some of that winky cabaret charm I hear from Nelly McKay (but without the Weird).

I really love this CD, the title track “Bouquet” always makes me stop whatever I’m doing and just listen. Yes, once could argue that she sounds like a lof of other artists and that’s true. But she really is talented. I would offer than if she took this style and just added a little something unique to it she could be a superstar.
