Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

NaJe and producer Mblaze create a sinuous, lithe trip-hop sound on this debut.

“Wild Things” is strikingly soulful and puts NaJe”s sensual vocals to good use.

“Saturn”s Child” is a gentle, breezy song. Its trippy nature is very pleasing to the ear.

“Bombshell” is a sultry moment, NaJe sings of a siren while sounding like one herself.

“Cosmonaut” is a song about the first woman in space. It’s both poignant and sweet.

“So Strange” is rich and marvellously evocative of some yet unfilmed spy movie. In fact the strings and lyrics practically scream, “Bond theme”.

In all “Cinephoniq” is a treat of an album.
