Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Pollyanna Bush’s debut starts out with a radio friendly but somewhat cliched song. It soon improves however. “The Wanting” is slower and allows her voice to take flight.

“Embrace the Truth” is suggestive and sees Bush use her piano in a very inspired manner.

“In your Arms Again” is a good uptempo song with a good use of the digeridoo. It.s got a danceable groove that sits well with the lyrics.

“Hush Now” is a chilling narrative of watching a loved one die. Here Bush’s gift for complex lyrics really shines.

“Dying to be Born” is an inspired debut.
