Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Interesting, within two weeks of each other I got two CDs by artists with almost the same name. This one, and Aimee Leonard. The CD covers even look similar.

“I Wish it Were Mine” is a well written tune about wanting what someone else has. The grass is always greener type thing. It has a bit of a country feel musically. Might be the vocals, which have a touch of a nasal twang.

“El Paso” makes me feel like I’m sitting on a porch down south in the dead heat of summer.

“Please Don’t” is a solid blues number.

All in all I guess I’d put Lennard in the folk/blues category. This is a strong EP. I’m curious to hear what she does next. I bet she rocks live too.
