Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds
I’ve said it before and it still holds true…I’m not very well educated in jazz music. It’s one of those genres I don’t hate, but am not an avid fan. I can appreciate its goodness, the talent, but the music isn’t something that speaks to me. Not sure why. However, the more I listen then more I like it. So maybe someday!
However, this is a really nice record. Kellylee has a lovely sophisticated voice that sounds just great with the music.
The songs are very soothing and comforting.
While it’s not something I’d listen to every day or in my car, it’s very nice to have some of these more mature-like records around for when I want to pretend I’m more adult than I am. Like when my parents come over.
