Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Ingrid Michaelson’s new record starts with the snappy “Die Alone”. Her lovely vocals and the poppy melody stand out. The song’s hesitant ode to new love is pretty sharp.

“Breakable” is all hushed vocals and a playful mood. Michaelson sings of humanity’s frailty without being too sentimental.

“The way I Am” is a nice little song done in a loungey way.

“Glass” is a nicely wrought song, the singing gaining ethereal qualities and a dreamlike mode is evoked.

The album has many varied sounds and Michaelson handles them all. This is a nice record.
