Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Abby Travis last album was a minor masterpiece and her new long-waited effort is just as good. The packaging is classy, Travis made up as a Hollywood diva from the golden age on the sleeve.

“Now Was” the reflective opener have wise rather than bitter words to its swooning tune.

“Grace” provides a soulful quality Travis has not previously shown. Her sirens song is backed with sophistication.

“Shoot for the Stars” revisits the cabaret sound of the previous release and does so beautifully.

The remake of the Shangri-La’s disillusioned “Past, Present and Future” is nicely done and adds something of its own to the song.

“Glitter Mouth” is utterly gorgeous and it’s good to have Abby Travis back.
