Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds
I can’t stop playing this CD! In my car, in my stereo at home, in my computer…I can’t get enough.
I just love her voice; it’s so sweet and pure and sounds so amazing singing these tunes.
The songs have fantastic melodies and catchy lines that I pretty much guarantee you’ll be humming long after the CD is over (if you can ever turn it off, that is). In my case, I’m dreaming the songs because in the last two days, that’s the only time I’m not listening to it.
I don’t know what else to say except, you’ve got tot hear her for yourself. If you’re already a fan, this will surely please you and if you’re not already, it will convert you. Fans of Sarah Harmer especially need to here this CD.
Stand out songs: “James!”, “Born to Hum”, “Slung-Lo”…Oh hell, they’re all good.
She’s touring Europe and the UK this summer (2004) so if you’re lucky enough to live in any of her touring towns go see her. I bet she’s amazing live.
