Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Lion Fever’s debut arrives, its furious alternative rock sound all poised and ready from the first track.

Singer Jennifer Pearl sounds like a young Courtney Love on opener “Lost Heart. Her guitar slashes riffs at lightning speed.

“She Sleeps” is an energetic grind of a song that sees Pearl singing all doomy and blunt.

“Crowd pleaser” sees the band being as tough as the Stooges, all animal ferocity and neat guitars.

“I’d Love to Leave” is another strong song with a lurching mood.

This debut will please fans of harder rock and anyone could admire Pearl’s voice.
