Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

The duo Mephisto Walz have been around awhile, honing their craft in the darkwave genre. Singer Christianna has the voice of a tempestuous siren and instrumentalist Bari-Bari plays well. Their new album is a treat.

“Our Flesh” is classic goth rock in the vein of Siouxsie but the swirling rhythm is modern.

“Before these Crimes” rests in a heavy guitar line and serpentine vocals.
