Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Jennifer Greer’s first EP is very accomplished. Her songs are intriguing and her piano-playing adept.

“Sundial” is a gentle pop song with stunning harmonies from Greer.

“Vague” is not unlike early Tori Amos and it’s a good song.

“St. Giraffe” enquires “Why can’t you hear me? Do I have to do a birthday striptease?”. The song is fraught with tension and has some of Greer’s most expressive piano-playing.

“Like Rain” is a classy sounding ballad with great lyrics.

“Jewel Machine” is a promising first stop on what will hopefully be a long artistic journey.
