Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Weird, this is another one I swore I wrote more about. I’ve been listening for months and really enjoying it!

This is a really cool record. It’s got a ‘hey-remember the 80s’ sound, but it’s still fresh.

Kaitee Page is the lead singer (as well as contributing piano and violin). Her voice is sexy and sweet and a perfect musical match. She also writes all the songs, some of which start out as poems.

The rest of Lunic is Kevin Oates (electric cello), Arya Chowdhury (guitar, vocals), Randy McKinley (bass), and Rob Parzek (drums).

I really like Thieves, and Hypnotized has a little “Cure-like” guitar. Nice.

The music is catchy and interesting without being to mainstreamy. They remind me of the Wild Strawberries (especially on Masquerade).

Very cool. This one will be moved to my personal rotation for sure.
