Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Norwegian singer Kari Rueslatten sang with Third and the Mortal in the past. Now she’s here with her third solo record. Its sound is atmospheric and it recalls artists like Tori Amos and Bjork.

The soft “River” has a lightly strummed guitar and Kari’s sweet voice at its centre.

“Denial” is crushlingly sad and has an electric sound that is very appealing.

“Exile” sounds like a Tori Amos song with its strong emotional charge.

Kari’s new album is a great one.
