Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Marsha Swanson follows an interesting debut with a confident follow up. Her songs are more complex and rewarding this time around.
The title song includes some real stardust.
Impasse is delicate and sweet, a simple backdrop behind the vocals.
Alice the Palace is moving and moves into Kate Bush territory. Swanson’s ambitions have clearly paid off.
The Fall of Madam M alludes to a track on the previous album and is gently sad.
Marsha Swanson’s new album is a delight through and through.
