Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Emma Anderson was a member of dreampop outfit Lush and later formed Sing Sing with Lisa O’Neill. Their second effort arrives after label difficulties and is a confident pop record.

“Come, Sing me a song” is an irresistible nugget. The song has an old-fashioned epic string section and the singing is gorgeous.

“A Modern Girl” revisits the old Lush sound but adds a modern sheen.

“I Do” is a skippy delightful song that merges the sixties girl group sound with modern electronica.

“When I was Made” is an up-tempo song with a great chrous.

“Sing Sing and I” is a great record.
