Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds
I reviewed this band’s, previous CD, when they were called Arcade. I liked it very much. “Into the Light”
They’ve put out another fun punky CD. This one is also fast and frenetic at times as well as having its subtler moments.
“German Precision” has an opener that will grab your attention, but luckily he rest of the song is just as cool. Definitely a stand out.
I can’t comment too much on the lyrics since I can’t understand some of them (more my deficit than the bands’) and they are not included with the CD (I also cannot find them on the website). I guess in this genre, the lyrics are usually secondary at most. However, I remember liking the lyrics of their previous release so I wish I could read them all. But oh well, I enjoy the music so that’s good enough.
If you like jumpy fun punk rock, you need to give this a listen. I bet these ladies are a blast live.
Stand out songs: “German Precision”, “Neer Neer”
