Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

My first impression of Jen Woodhouse was that she is very creative (and/or bored) as the envelope that arrived was covered with beautiful doodling. Luckily she’s creative in her music as well.

Her style is, I guess, folk-pop. She has a comfortable voice.

She has a knack for creating cool melodies that suit her vocal style nicely. There is not a lot of variety in the songs, that is, upon first listen they kind of sounded alike to me. But once I gave it more time and listened to the lyrics I found each one special in their own way.

On track two, Your Window she does a bit of scatting.

Halfway There is very AAA radio friendly as is If Only.

For those of us who like Adult Contemporary Pop this is a good listen.

Stand out songs: Searching for Orion and If Only.
