Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Blueberry is a genuinely funky project fronted by the gifted Gwen Snyder.

The nicely titled “Bellbottom Bike Accident” gets the groove on the right way with funky horns and cutesy vocals.

“Remember Heaven” is an escapist joy. The songs gleeful mood is hard to resist.

“False Alarm” is a seventies styled soul song with a great melody.

“Pocket book of Love” is a fuzzy ode to love with an inventive use of the organ.

The ballad “Only When I Do” is stripped down and offers a contrast to the rest of the album. Snyder sings her heart out and proves she can do most things right.

The final track is more carefree. “Twilight” is an aural delight.

It’s an album to drive your woes away.
