a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Lisa Cerbone follows her lovely album Ordinary Days with a new effort that’s as rich in beauty and the joys of life.

Her fragile voice is strength in itself. Tiny Patch of Earth celebrates the everyday miracle of living and loving; the quietly strummed guitar supports it well.

Close to the Battlefield speaks of finding new hope after life’s troubles gets you down, Cerbone’s angelic voice should instill hope in anyone listening.

Mia Noelle written for one of Cerbone’s children is sweet and whimsical, the melody bright and happy as can be.

The Fields are More Golden is a reflective and slightly melancholy song, which she handles well.

Lisa Cerbone’s new album is a lovely thing.
