Boister is the group formed by Anne Watts. Their new ep is a delightful little French detour.
Thus we get Jaques Brel’s “Ne me quittes pas” in a moving rendition and Edith Piaf’s “Non, je ne regrette rien” done in a nice version.
An even nicer treat is Led Zeppelin’s “Dancing Days” in French as “Les Jours Dansants”.
Throughout Watts charms with her lovely voice and the band play well together. A real treat.
