Burnout – Haitus

Hey everyone

This is just to let you all know that I will not be doing anymore album reviews for awhile. I don’t know if it’s because I am burned out, jaded or if the stuff I’m getting recently really *is* bad. But nothing that I’m supposed to review is clicking with me. Nothing. I don’t like anything I’ve received lately and feel it’s a real struggle to listen to it for more than a few tracks. This is supposed to be fun! And when it stops being fun I have to stop.
So whether it’s me, or not, I’m taking a break. I’m not going to do anymore reviews until either I get a new frame of mind or I start getting some good stuff.

I will say that I am really enjoying both Vienna Teng’s “Dreaming through the Noise” and Regina Spektors “Begin to Hope” (both of which I purchased). They’re both marvelous. And I’m still inamoured with Corinne Bailey Rae. So maybe it’s not me. Time will tell.

I still plan to update the blog with any news I hear or things I think you should check out. You’ll just have a break from my musical opinions for a little while. 🙂 Trust me, it’s best for both of us.
