Review by [Amy Lotsberg] Producer of Collected Sounds
Wow, if you’re looking for a night of fun and The Coma Savants are playing anywhere near you, you owe it to yourself to attend the show.
I would call their music “Carnival Rock” with a little cabaret thrown in. Stephanie Rearick heads the band on vocals, piano and trumpet. She is backed by Jon Hain on guitar, Joey Zarda and Jason Socha on drums.
This band is as visually unique as their music. Stephanie’s look was complete with sparkly silver combat boots and a black sequined top hat. Joey was sporting a polka dotted shirt, flashy orange bumpers and a top hat, looking a little like Robin Williams did in “Toys”.
This was a great show and the band members are all very cool and friendly. Go see them if you can and chat with them after the show if you get a chance.
