Album Review: Wallflower EP by Michelle Cummings

Album Name: Wallflower

Artist: Michelle Cummings

Year/Label: 2006 / Independent

This is a lovely little EP. Michelle Cummings has a very pleasing voice. She plays piano and well and these songs are nice pop pockets.

“No Good at Goodbyes” is a very sad song, which has the line, “I’m just tired of loving you…” Eesh, harsh! But it’s pretty all the same.

These songs probably fall in the AAA contemporary category…think Anna Nalick, Vanessa Carlton, etc.

I think she’s really good. I would like to hear more in the future.
