Album Name: XV
Artist: The Machine in the Garden
Year/Label: 2006 / Independent
This album reminds me of Goldfrapp, that sort of techno-disco, glitter rock of which, I am afraid to say, I am not a fan. But I know many of you are, so I’ll give it a whirl.
The music is sort of a soup of squeaky keys, drum machine, and moody vocals. I feel though, I like I can actually ‘hear’ lights flashing. That experience is actually kind of cool.
I like some of the songs for a party mix but it’s not something I’d listen to every day.
