Review by David Adair

Hailed as a female the Foo Fighters, recently formed Glasgow quartet, The Hedrons seek to enhance this reputation and add a touch of Sleater Kinney to polish this latest offering.

The instrumental grind that is driven with relentless drive by lead guitarist Rosie, provides the fulcrum for a thrusting and hearty effort at an offering pitched up at the heavier end of the indie market. Tippi’s vocals nudge the outfit towards sheer rock n’ roll with her slightly shrill, piercing projection of the simplistic and pleading lyrics.

The Hedrons voracious appetite touring gives a hint to their strength and this is certainly a number that would appear to step up a notch in a live setting.
