“Hirsch bares her soul with a forthright candor that would have the likes of Jewel running for cover.” – Campus Circle
There is something slightly disturbing about a girl who doesn’t mind stripping bare in the spotlight and doing a dance with her words.
If the world expects a girl with a story to have the scars to prove it, Terami will argue that the stories are worth it. This isn’t tortured, pity-me music. This is honest, interesting, and crafted songwriting.
Beginning with a little flirtation at the piano when she was young, Terami has continued to coax the tune out of the wires throughout her life. In 1999 she faced-off with the beast of recording her first album. And “All Girl Band” came to be. The album is raw but somehow remains soft and whimsical.
Terami released her latest album, A Broke Machine in April of 2008
