“10-4”

I heard about this from a mailing list I am on.

Kristin Hersh announced a new project where you select 10 songs by Kristin Hersh and Throwing Muses. Kristin will record them live, solo. She will even say HI to you on it. Then they burn it onto a CD and send it to you. It’s $50 which you may think seem high for a CD, but it’s your own personal CD! Kristin Hersh singing her great songs just for you!! Obviously they can only do a certain amount per month until they get sick of doing it. So if you want one you’d better get in line!

I think this is an amazing idea. I wish more artists did this.

Then there’s also the CASH Project, reconstructing the music business model. Go Kristin!
