Alicia Dara’s third record is a solid piece of work. She sings with a clear, strong voice over restrained backing. Her tales of spirituality and love are hardly original, but compelling anyway.
The song “Over My Bones(Archangel) with its intriguing lyric and mid-tempo pace is a fine example of Dara’s songwriting talent.
She’s sure to produce more inspiring records in the future.
