Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Stacy Harshman’s dreamy music is a real treat to hear. She sings delicately but her words have resonance.

“Waiting on Love” is an up-tempo song that is very expressive.

“Gypsy Souls” is a faintly trippy song.

“Dreaming and Fusing” is a melancholy song. “You were closed up in confusion. You drew back from your bloodbridge. We were dreaming and fusing in our love” she sings poetically.

“Love Tokens” is like whispered recollection of Mazzy Star’s quiet neo-country.

The heart-rending “Someone Save Me” should move all but the callous.

The closing title track muses on how to survive with your soul intact in a harsh reality. Stacy Harshman’s album is a lovely thing.
