Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Nathalie Matteau’s debut ep is rich with cabaret sounds and she uses them well. She manages to evoke both Marlene Dietrich and the lovely Jill Tracy.

“Kir Royal” sounds suitably decadent and has nice singing in French and an accordion.

“Celsius 35” is charmingly offbeat with its Weill-esque melody and vampy singing.

The jazzy “Get in The Car” is another highlight.

The ep ends too soon and leaves me wanting more. Ms. Matteau should be poised for future success if this ep is any sign of what’s in store from a full-length.
