Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

When I read the title of the CD and then all the song titles, I did a bit of an eye roll. I thought, oh boy she’s gonna sing about steamed milk. But let me put your mind at ease. It’s an instrumental recording. No “Mocha mocha, latte, ya ya”. Thank All That Is Good In The World.

What we do have is a nice, jazzy, new agey collection of tracks performed by the talented Stephanie Sante. Though she doesn’t sing (at least not on this recording) she does play acoustic guitar, electric guitar, synth guitar, keyboards, and percussion. Wow.

I’m not all that well versed in instrumental and/or new age genres, but I do know that this is very pleasant and that it’s performed quite skillfully.

If you’re looking for a good Sunday morning CD to listen to while you sip…well, coffee, check this one out.
