Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Jude Johnstone has written for other artists (Johnny Cash, Bonnie, etc) in the past, but this is her first venture performing her own material.

This CD has a decidedly country- Americana tone with mostly ballads, but a few more pop-y numbers. Her songs are about love lost, love growing , getting screwed up and hope.

“Not Long for This World” and “The Water’s Edge” seem radio friendly to me. “Coming of Age” has a great piano opening.

If you like Bonnie Raitt’s style you’ll like Jude Johnstone.
