Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Alice Marie’s debut EP is short, but offers music that speaks volumes. On “Lipstick Diaries” she sings a little bit like Natalie Merchant to a folk backing. The strings on this track are nothing short of stunning.

“So Long” starts out like a piano ballad and then gathers speed. It’s a rock anthem waiting to hit the airwaves.

“Madeleine” has a psychedelic feel to it that is very well handled. Alice Marie’s tale of a haunted girl is affecting. Her voice is lovely here.

“Seasoned” is a simple but sweet song of enduring love.

“Equilibrium” is a great start for Alice Marie and I hope she makes more music likes this.
