Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds
OK let’s get this straight from the beginning. I love this band. At times they remind me of 80s punk-pop.
This is the kind of album that is really fun on record, but you just know this music would be a blast live. There’s a lot of energy here and it makes you want to move.
Rewind is so addictive it should be on the radio. It has a bit of a 60s psychedelic feel, ala “California Dreamin'” but with a punkier punch.
Granny Was a Gunrunner sounds like it could be on the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. Quite beachy. Dick Dale would be proud.
I can’t pick out a favorite because I love them all. I just wish the record were longer. I certainly hope they’re working on a full length CD and I also hope I can see them live sometime. What a blast these ladies are.
