Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Anna O clearly has a gift for writing sharp lyrics and strong melodies.

The alternative rock sound of ”Novocaine” sits well with the alienated lyrics. ”Tightrope” has echoes of Patti Smith in its strong delivery and poetic words.

”Rocket Boy” focuses on Anna’s lovely voice. Its slight psychedelic tinge makes it a winner.

The cool, jazzy “Hollywood” adds another genre to Anna O’s repertoire. Her songs are so intricately made it takes multiple plays to unravel all that’s going on in them.

The album is flawlessly produced too. It’s not an album that’s easy to categorize, which is great.

The intense “Rose Volcano” rocks out without losing its cool.

Anna O’s record is just amazing.
