Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

How Strong? is a mini-cd that contains 3 songs from her upcoming release, [Wake] and one from her previous release, “Brief Stop” (1999).

This is a great sample of Sheila’s work. Her music is complex, with full instrumentation. He combines trip-hop (ala Portishead) with pop. She has a great, gutsy voice that can also sound sweet at times.

She paints beautiful pictures with her words such as “You’re a ghost in my snow now/And a light in my red moon” (Bread and Water)

Judging by these songs, her new CD, Wake it’s bound to be a hit.
