Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Maggie Connell has a great, original lyrical style and a sound that is rich.

Her first solo record after time spent in various bands is a real treat. “La La la” is a rollercoaster of bad experiences set to a rocking soundtrack.

“Diagram of rage” is strongly orchestrated with marvellous lyrics.

“I wish I was Alice” aches with sadness from every pore.

“I eat children” is not very tasteful at all, being a folk version of Emimen. It’s also a good song and about as seroius as Alice Cooper dressed up to the nines.

Maggie Connell is hard to classify and all the better for it. Her record is intelligent and distrubing.

Make her a star now.
