Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Ellery is husband and wife duo, Tasha and Justin Golden. They used to be called Dividing the Plunder, but are starting anew with the new name and new EP.

I have not heard any of their previous stuff, but this EP makes me wish I had. The good news is, that they’re not going anywhere.

I love this CD. It’s got everything…great songwriting, skilled musicianship, professional production, and a lead vocal I just can’t get enough of.

The genre would be Adult Alternative I guess. It’s not quite folk, not quite rock, yet still a little of both. Just good music, I can’t seem to describe it any other way.

This is a fabulous EP I just wish it was longer. I hope we see a full length from Ellery soon!
