Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

Eileen Hazel has a folky sound with nice melodies, peaceful guitar parts and meaningful lyrics.

In the powerful, “Terrorist” it begins with an eerie cello then she sings,

“Do you believe peace can come from war somehow? Tell me, who is the terrorist now?”

On “Epiphany” the steel guitar gives this song a county “tear-in-my-beer” feel.

The title track, “My Interesting Condition” has a great phrase:

“I’m too wise to be a fool I’m too awkward to be cool I’m too scared to be so brave Too far gone to be saved”

If you like folk music about love and life (as opposed to strictly politics as some are) pick up Eileen Hazel’s “My Interesting Condition”.
