Album Name: Recovering Humans
Artist: Kathy Compton
Year/Label: 2002 / Frosty Orange Records
Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Kathy Compton’s album is a likeable pop offering. She writes catchy and thoughtful songs.
The title track is glossy and has some very smart lyrics. It sounds not unlike something Madonna might have written.
“Demons” is haunting and subdued in a very appealing way.
“The Big Song” is bombastic, like something from an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. Compton carries it off with style.
