Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Edie has a lovely voice. On “Glide” she sounds like Sinead O’Connor while the intensity of the music builds gradually.

Her debut “Shades” is lushly textured and has plenty of alternative rock bite.

“Crumble” is instantly catchy and is another good example of Edie’s songwriting skills.

The dark “Childhood Without Youth” is hushed and tense.

“Shades” is a powerful and accomplished debut by a gifted artist.
