Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

I liked this right away. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my act together in time, and missed her playing in town the same week I this album arrived.

This album is filled with all sorts of haunting, dirgy, rhythmic songs.

Angie Mattson has a sexy cool voice that is a perfect match for the music.

Opening song, Bravery, reminds me of Milla (Jovovich)’s album [Divine Comedy].
It’s sort of messy and mystical with somewhat swoopy vocals.

Cool Water is definitely a stand out, with its touch of blues and twang. I know, I normally don’t care for things of that description but this is really very good.

It’s a little short, at only 7 songs, but they’re all good. A real find!
