Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

La Kidda’s music is soft and sweet but not without edges. The grooves are special and the general vibe is pleasant.

“Kind of” has a strong pulse and Arjo’s vocal is gorgeous. It’s a jazzy, blue-tinted song.

“Blue Faced” has her speaking her words softly to a hypnotic backing. I’m reminded of Björk’s calmer moments.

“What I Dream” is another nice song, Arjo singing lovingly.

“If I Would Die” is a fabulous song, it recalls Rickie Lee Jones cool attitude and girlish voice.

This is a great record.
