Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Alesandra Santovito of the band Gothica has formed Hexperos and delivers immaculate darkwave on this debut.

Hesperos sees Santovito reach untold heights vocally against a beautiful backdrop.

The title song alludes to the Greek myth of the women who guarded the golden apples of the goddess Hera that granted immortality. The piece recalls Dead Can Dance at their most accessible.

Rime Glitters In The Sun is a neo-classical drama that uses Santovito’s voice well.

Artemisia is a song that that plays to the bands strengths.

Hexperos have made a fantastic debut all told.
