This is Sylvia Tosun’s debut but it doesn’t feel like the work of a newcomer. Tosun has a great maturity in her music.
She collaborates with Julie Flanders and Emil Adler of the late October Project. Someting of October Project’s lush sound is here, but Sylvia Tosun adds a flavour of her own.
The pretty title song recalls Heather Nova’s finest work and the oriental sound of “Sleepless Dark Water” enchants.
